Partner Libraries
Introduction
Partner libraries have agreed to take down walls and share collections for the benefit of their patrons. A patron whose library participates is able to place a hold on an item owned by another partner library. Using a combination of mail and courier service the item is delivered to the patron's home library.
There are three partner groups. The original partners group, now called the Larger Partners Group, was formed in 2004 and includes MSC libraries across the state. Two other partner groups; 4 Rivers Group and BridgerNet Group also share patrons within their respective regions.
