A MESSAGE FROM THE STATE LIBRARIAN
Dear Friends:
Montana's Professional Education and Employment for Librarians (PEEL) project is an exciting opportunity for those interested in becoming professional librarians. Whether you're interested in working in a small or large library, in a school, a public, or tribal setting, you will benefit. Funding for the PEEL project was provided by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
We hope this website will serve as a valuable electronic resource for you. This site contains promotional materials for college career counselors and librarians to print and post. We've also included information about PEEL scholarships, as well as interviews with some of Montana's professional librarians. Check back often, as we plan to add more stories from participating colleagues.
We hope this information will assist you in planning for, or advancing, a rewarding career in Montana's libraries. If you have any questions, please contact PEEL Project Coordinator Sue Jackson at sujackson@mt.gov or (406) 444-5350 or 1-800-338-5087 (in state).
Sincerely,
