National Medal for Museum and Library Services
Institute of Museum and Library Services - $10,000.
This award recognizes institutions that go above and beyond and make significant contributions to their communities.  A library can be nominated by one of its employees or by a member of the community.  The nomination needs to describe the library's goal in serving the community, the population served, community collaboration and outcome, and future projections.

Comcast Foundation
The Comcast Foundation was established by Comcast Corporation in June 1999 and is the company's chief source of charitable support to qualified non-profit organizations. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $12 million in grants to non-profit organizations in Comcast communities nationwide.
