LSTA-funded Projects and Initiatives Survey
Montana librarians,
During the next few weeks, Montana State Library will be evaluating the impact of recent LSTA-funded projects and initiatives. This evaluation is required every five years by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. One of the most important data sources for the evaluation is the Montana library community. To collect the data, I’m asking that all librarians and library staff complete a survey about products and services that are funded by MT’s annual LSTA grant award.
The survey data will be collected and analyzed by Communication and Management Services of Helena, the firm contracted to do the evaluation report. All survey responses are confidential. Your input will be used not only to evaluate the past few years, but also to develop the State Library’s next LSTA 5-year plan. As we look ahead to the years 2013-2018, it is important to know what librarians value and need in order to serve Montana’s citizens.
You can access the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2FFK35Q and it takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey will be available until January 31st.
So, please share your comments and ideas with us, and encourage your staff and coworkers to also complete the survey. Thank you!
Jennie Stapp
