Special Considerations Checklist

  • Decide on facilities - keep same building or build new
  • If keeping building work out a tentative agreement with city or county about the building, equipment, collection, etc.
  • Identify costs for accounting, legal fees, and insurance.
  • Negotiate transitional funding with city or county
  • Decide on personnel system - transfer, new, or contract with local government
  • If applicable develop a Memorandum of Agreement with city and/or county
