About
The Transportation Framework contains roads centerline feature geometry, along with address ranges and other attributes in the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Standard for NG9-1-1 GIS Data Model format. A primary reason most tribal and local data providers maintain road centerline data is for 9-1-1 purposes. As such, standardizing the Montana Transportation Framework to NENA standards facilitates a standardized, sustainable method to collect, maintain, and disseminate road centerline data for Montana.
