Connor Frakes is the Bureau Chief of Blind & Low Vision Services within the Montana Disability Employment & Transitions Division (DETD). He is here to introduce the community to programs like Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services, which promotes opportunities for Montanans with disabilities to have rewarding careers and achieve maximum personal potential.
Connor has a work history in higher education, including time in admission offices for Great Falls College and the University of Montana, helping students of all backgrounds find pathways to meaningful employment. He also worked for the Office of Public Assistance helping determine eligibility for programs like Medicaid. Over the past three years, he has continued serving in career counseling and leadership roles.
