Medicare and Medicaid in Montana With Dennis DelPizzo
This session will provide a high-level overview of the Medicare program to include eligibility, enrollment, costs, coverage options, how Medicare works with other insurance, important considerations, 2026 changes (including the 2026 Medicare Open Enrollment Period), and who to contact for help nationally and in Montana.
Dennis works for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in Denver. The CMS is a Federal Agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is responsible for the administration of Medicare, Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. The CMS Denver Regional Office (RO) is one of 10 ROs nationally, and it serves Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.
Dennis is a Health Insurance Specialist. His primary responsibilities include coordination of CMS’ regional outreach and education for the six-state region. Dennis has worked in the Medicare program for over 36 years.
