Falls Prevention

Falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries in older adults. In Montana, nearly one out of three Montanans over the age of 65 fall each year. Simple modifications can reduce a person’s risk of falling. Exercising, managing medications, yearly hearing and vision checkup, and making your living environment safer are all steps to help prevent a fall.
