Meet the MTSRN Coordinator

Kazi Arifuzzaman is the RTN Coordinator. He worked as geodetic coordinator & instructor at Idaho State University where he was involved with advancing Real-Time Network (RTN) in Idaho, resetting Benchmarks, tectonic deformation studies, stewardship to the Multi-State Control Point Database (MCPD), geodetic teaching and research as well as advising Idaho’s land surveying community on geodetic issues. He was previously the principal researcher in the height modernization program of Connecticut. He has worked on several scientific issues involving geometrical geodesy, orthometric height and satellite geodesy.

 

Kazi has a Ph.D. in geodesy from University of Connecticut, and a masters in geology from University of Windsor, Canada. Kazi is a former student member of American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) as well as a member of New England Section of ACSM.
