OCLC Group Services

OCLC Group Services is a contract held by the Montana State Library on behalf of over 200 academic, school, special, and public libraries statewide. This contract supports resource sharing by providing access to interlibrary loan and cataloging tools. OCLC membership is a requirement of the Montana Shared Catalog so that catalog records can be standardized and shared for higher quality and greater efficiency.

OCLC Group Services is funded through annual participating library fees, state funding, and Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
