Montana Channel Migration Zone Projects - Bighorn River
The 2021 Bighorn River Channel Migration Zone (CMZ) mapping effort was completed for 86 miles of the Bighorn extending from just below the Yellowtail Afterbay Dam near Fort Smith to its confluence with the Yellowstone River near Bighorn MT. The project was sponsored by the Bighorn River Alliance and completed by Applied Geomorphology, Inc. and DTM Consulting, Inc.
